A low-intensity earthquake shook the Kaski district in western Nepal on Wednesday morning. The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre reported that a tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck near Phulibang at 11:56 am on May 28.
So far, there haven't been any reports of damage from the earthquake.
Officials noted that the tremor was also felt in nearby districts, such as Lamjung, Tanhu, and Parvat.
A couple of days earlier, on May 26, another earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 hit near Ramidanda in Jajarkot district.
