Bathing banned at Hogenakkal

Coimbatore: Following the increase in water flow in the Cauvery river, the Dharmapuri district administration banned bathing at Hogenakkal on Friday.

On Friday night, the inflow into Hogenakkal increased to 19,000 cusecs, following which the district administration issued a ban on bathing in the Hogenakkal until further notice.
