Prime Video viewers are devouring a high-stakes courtroom drama that leaves them questioning "trust no-one".
Justice on Trial is a compelling new series from judicial legend Judge Judy Sheindlin. And it is now available to stream on Prime Video.
Launching on July 21, fans have already binged the programme, which sees Judge Judy Sheindlin placing the justice system itself in the dock.
Across eight episodes, viewers have hailed it as essential viewing for true crime enthusiasts. Judge Sheindlin herself commented on the programme.
She said: "Judges do not make law. They interpret the law. Judges are people. Sometimes they get it wrong. Then what happens?", reports the Mirror.
"When and how long will it take to get it right? I've put justice on trial. I couldn't be more proud of this series. Everybody who watches it will come away a little smarter. Mission accomplished."
The judge will examine one of the most intimate and intricate cases of her career, a diplomatic immunity clash, whilst also reconstructing the bone-chilling case of Archie Dixon, who admitted to murdering his flatmate and burying him alive.
A Prime Video synopsis states: "Judge Judy Sheindlin puts the American justice system on trial in a true crime high-stakes courtroom drama, as she and her expert legal team recreate the trials from notorious cases where following the letter of the law did not necessarily feel "just.""

"Season 1 spans from the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial to a case in which the convicted killer is currently on Death Row."
The series has already garnered a positive response from viewers. One fan enthused: "Justice on trial is really good, this is just the first episode I'm on, very compelling."
Another chimed in: "Check out the show #JusticeOnTrial on @PrimeVideo it's a great show."
Meanwhile, another viewer noted: "I enjoyed this show. It is a nice change from civil suits" while another was left stunned, stating: "This case had my mouth dropping open! We immediately watched the next one! !"
One fan penned: "I'm glad for this show because I'm learning a lot. Everyone should watch this show. Judge Judy is truly amazing."
Starring Judge Judy Sheindlin as herself, fans will also see Tessa Anderson, Garon Grigsby, Robert Catrini and Marcus Hanson on screens.
