Alexander Isak, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho are among the new arrivals who could make their first appearances for their new clubs this weekend. The summer transfer window closed on 1 September before a two-week international break put a halt to the Premier League.
As a result, fans across the nation have been eagerly waiting to see how their clubs' new deadline day signings will perform in the Premier League. More than £375million was spent on deadline day alone, pushing the total expenditure on new signings over the £3billion mark in England. With a plethora of new talent to keep an eye on, the Express has compiled a full starting XI of players who could make their Premier League debuts for their new respective clubs, from a British record sensation to a number of Manchester United flops who have been moved on.
Gianluigi Donnarumma - Manchester CityWhile James Trafford was the talk of the town when Manchester City secured him in a £27m deal with Burnley earlier this summer, Pep Guardiola's Cityzens couldn't resist also signing one of the world's greatest goalkeepers in Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 26-year-old had impressed with Paris Saint-Germain for four years, clinching a Ligue 1 title during each season of his tenure and helping Les Parisiens claim their first-ever Champions League title this year, when the acquisition of Lucas Chevalier prompted him to explore his options elsewhere.
Manchester City managed to secure the signature of Italian star Donnarumma on a five-year deal for a reported £30m, beating out numerous top-tier clubs. As such, the Sky Blues may choose to field Donnarumma over Trafford in the upcoming Manchester Derby at the Etihad this Sunday, given his extensive experience at the highest level.
Piero Hincapie - ArsenalArsenal have secured 23-year-old Piero Hincapie on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen, who have seen a number of their players snapped up by Premier League teams this season, including Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, Granit Xhaka to Sunderland, and Amine Adli to AFC Bournemouth. Hincapie is set to challenge Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori for a spot in Mikel Arteta's starting XI.
The Gunners are set to face Nottingham Forest at 12.30pm on Saturday, where Arsenal fans may get their first look at the talented Ecuadorian, particularly as William Saliba will be absent due to an ankle injury sustained against Liverpool.
Igor Julio - West Ham UnitedWest Ham United welcomed Igor Julio on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion FC on deadline day, in what could prove to be one of Graham Potter's most successful signings of the summer. The Hammers have had a difficult start to the season, suffering a 3-0 defeat to Sunderland on opening day, followed by a 5-1 thrashing at home by Chelsea the following week.
Despite a morale-boosting 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest before the international break, Potter wisely strengthened his defence while he had the chance. With a challenging match against a high-flying Tottenham Hotspur awaiting the Hammers on Saturday evening, fans might see Igor brought in for added security in their own half.
Veljko Milosavljevic - BournemouthBournemouth have had a fantastic start to the new Premier League season, winning two of their first three matches. However, Andoni Iraola clearly wanted more defensive depth as the transfer window was closing.
The club seems to have secured just that with the signing of 18-year-old Veljko Milosavljevic from Red Star Belgrade for £13m on deadline day. Although the Serbian centre-back is still developing, it's believed he could be used in Bournemouth's match against Brighton due to Adam Smith's thigh injury and Julian Araujo's recent return from suspension.
Harvey Elliott and Jadon Sancho - Aston VillaConsidering Liverpool's heavy spending this summer and Harvey Elliott entering his prime playing years, it's not surprising that the club decided to loan him to Aston Villa on deadline day with a £35m obligation to buy based on appearances. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has impressed with the Reds over the past six years, but appeared to be edged out of Arne Slot's plans following Wirtz's arrival.
Consequently, he will be hoping for greater opportunities in the midlands under Unai Emery, and could turn out for the club as early as Saturday, when they make the trip to Merseyside to take on Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Potentially lining up alongside Elliott is Manchester United outcast, Jadon Sancho.
The England international has endured a difficult spell with the Red Devils as he enters his final year of contract, with Villa securing the 25-year-old winger on a season-long loan deal. He will also be eager to make an immediate impact with the Villains when they clash with the Toffees this weekend, seeking to reignite a career revival in the Premier League following last season's loan stint with Chelsea.
Randal Kolo Muani - Tottenham HotspurThomas Frank has confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani could feature in the Spurs squad to take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday, following the Frenchman's deadline day loan switch from PSG to north London. Speaking during a press conference ahead of the weekend, Frank said: "Both are looking good. Both are in contention to be ready for the squad tomorrow," also referencing Xavi Simons.
The 26-year-old has been a standout performer for PSG since his move in 2023, but has struggled to secure a starting spot under Luis Enrique, with Goncalo Ramos preferred. However, he will be eager to make an impact on Spurs fans if given the opportunity against West Ham.
Following a tumultuous summer at Old Trafford, Alejandro Garnacho finally sealed a £40m switch to Chelsea. Despite the deal being agreed before deadline day, he was only unveiled as a Blues player after Chelsea's last Premier League match against Fulham.
He could now make his debut this weekend against Brentford. While the 21-year-old will be keen to hit the ground running, he may have to bide his time and make an impact from the bench, given the fierce competition for places on the wing from players such as Pedro Neto, Estevao and Jamie Gittens.
Brian Brobbey - SunderlandRegis Le Bris received significant backing from Kyril Louis-Dreyfus this summer, with the French owner fully aware of the squad overhaul needed to compete in the Premier League. The Black Cats splashed out more than £150m in the transfer window, bringing in the likes of Xhaka, Habib Diarra, Chemsdine Talbi, Robin Roefs and Omar Alderete to the Stadium of Light.
However, they also secured the services of Brian Brobbey in a £21.6m deadline day deal with Ajax, recognising the need for a proven striker. While Eliezer Mayenda and Wilson Isidor have already shown their worth for Sunderland, each netting against West Ham in their season opener, there's still a dearth of top-tier experience between them.

With Mayenda failing to impress against Burnley and Brentford since, Le Bris might choose to start Isidor against Crystal Palace on Saturday, giving Brobbey some game time as a second-half substitute.
Alexander Isak - LiverpoolFollowing a summer of unrest at St James' Park, Isak finally sealed a £125m move to Liverpool on deadline day. However, given that the Swede hasn't featured in the Premier League this season due to his actions at Newcastle United, Slot may not choose to start him against Burnley on Sunday.
Hugo Ekitike has been doing an excellent job leading Liverpool's attack this season, while Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah have been shining from the wings. Consequently, despite his record-breaking British transfer fee, Isak might only get some minutes off the bench this weekend.
While he wasn't a deadline day acquisition, Nick Woltemade has yet to make an appearance for Newcastle United since his move to Tyneside. The 23-year-old striker was signed from VfB Stuttgart in a deal reportedly worth £73.5m on August 30, as a replacement for a departing Isak.
Yoane Wissa, another new face at the Magpies who was secured from Brentford on deadline day for £55m, also hasn't made his Premier League debut this season due to his own transfer ambitions over the summer, and as a result, it could pave the way for Woltemade to be called into action by United when they host Wolves on Saturday.
