Prince William left Eugene Levy stunned after making an unexpected appearance on the Canadian actor's travel show, leaving the actor feeling "charmed" by the Prince of Wales. The future king showed him around Windsor Castle for the latest series of Apple TV+ programme The Reluctant Traveller.
On reflection and speaking of the Prince, Mr Levy said: "I was so impressed with the Prince of Wales. It was a charming few hours, that we had together. I don't know what I expected, you know, from a Royal. The monarchy has always been so very formal, but with William, you didn't get that at all. He's a dad who goes to work and then comes home and you know has dinner with his kids. There's a normalcy to it that just surprised me, it took me aback actually a little bit. He was so down to earth, very funny, very bright. Got to be honest, he was fun to hang with."
The episode, entitled Living The Royal Life In The UK, premieres on Friday, October 3.
The epsidode sees Prince William meet the actor at Windsor Castle while arriving on an electric scooter. At one point William jokes: "We provide this service for everyone. We do personalised tours everywhere."
After walking through the castle's historic rooms, the pair headed out with William's dog before stopping at a local pub.
Asked what he enjoys doing at home, William said: "Sleep. When you have three small children, sleep is an important part of my life."

In the clip, William says that 2024 has been "the hardest year I've ever had." He adds: "Life is said to test us, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are."
King Charles and William's wife, Princess Kate were diagnosed with cancer last year, with Charles still undergoing treatment and Kate completing a preventative chemotherapy course in September.
Filming for the Apple TV+ programme took place in February this year, just weeks after Kate revealed that she was in remission from cancer after being diagnosed at the start of 2024.
Episode four of The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy, called Living the Royal Life in the UK, premieres on Friday, 3rd October on Apple TV+
