Police have urged locals to "avoid the area" near the Boston Police Station after a suspicious device was found on Tuesday morning. The incident prompted the arrival to the area of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit.
A police cordon has also been put in place, while a bus station and several roads were closed. Residents were evacuated, with officials saying the rest centre for those asked to leave their offices and homes is the Municipal Building on West Street in PE21 8QR.
