Chanakya Niti: The importance of time in life has been explained so deeply by Acharya Chanakya that it can be felt in today's fast-paced world. Chanakya had said that the one who is supported by time can defeat even the great ones.

When the wheel of time turns in someone's favour, then the same person who seemed ordinary can surprise the world by becoming extraordinary. This is the power of time that it turns a king into a pauper and a pauper into a king.

Another truth comes out in Chanakya Niti in very simple words –

Even a crow sitting in a rich man's house looks like a peacock to everyone and a poor man's child looks like a thief to everyone.

This line strikes hard at the double standards of society. We often judge a person not by his qualities but by his status. In a rich man's house even a simple thing looks beautiful and valuable, whereas a poor man's honest and truthful child also becomes suspicious in the eyes of people. This thinking is a big weakness of the society, from which we should free ourselves.

Silence on good and discussion on evil

Acharya Chanakya drew attention to another bitter truth of society – everyone remains silent on a person's goodness and if the discussion is about evil then even the dumb start speaking.

It is often seen that when a person does a noble deed or does something good for others, the society remains silent. But as soon as that person commits a small mistake or any shortcoming is noticed, people start discussing the evil. Even those people start speaking who usually do not say anything.

What do we learn from this policy?

This policy of Chanakya inspires us to have faith in ourselves and our actions. It tells us that time does not always remain the same. We should judge others based on their actions and truth, not their status. Also, it is our responsibility to recognize and appreciate the goodness of others.
