Strictly Come Dancing's Thomas Skinner has said his wife Sinead took a 'long, long time' to forgive him over his affair with Amy-Lucy O'Rourke.
Thomas, 34, recently admitted to having a "one off fling" with beautician Amy-Lucy just weeks after marrying wife Sinead. However, Amy-Lucy then hit back at Thomas' claims and said the pair were actually having an affair for three months.
In the wake of Amy-Lucy's revelations, Thomas has since revealed how reliving the scandal has been 'awful' for his wife Sinead. Thomas and Sinead wed in May 2022 after their son was born in October 2020. They later went on to welcome twin daughters in June 2023.

And, though Thomas' affair was three years ago, it hit the headlines recently ahead of his Strictly debut.
Now, Thomas has shared his wife's heartache and how she managed to forgive him over the fling.
He said: "It wasn't difficult for me because I know the mistakes I've made in my life, but it was awful for my poor wife to read it all, and that's why I feel bad."
Thomas added to the Daily Mail: "We had already moved on from this. I'm doing Strictly and I'm in the public eye now. My whole life has been dug up and regurgitated and my poor wife has to read something that she has moved on from."
The Strictly star, who is partnered with Amy Dowden for the series, also revealed how his wife forgave him. He explained: "It took a long, long time for her to forgive me and we have worked at it. I will never say I'm perfect but it was hard seeing my wife relive all of this. But she said that it wouldn't break us, it wouldn't ruin us. She told me that she loves me to pieces and I love her."

Thomas also revealed his wife will be in the Strictly audience for his first live performance, which takes place tonight, and will be there every week until he's voted off the show.
While Thomas' signing hasn't been a popular choice amongst Strictly fans – due to his centre-right political stance, outspoken rants on X and links to Donald Trump's vice president JD Vance – the Apprentice star has remained positive about his Strictly journey.
Ahead of his first live show dance with Amy Dowden, professional dancer Amy shared a message to her partner.
Writing on Instagram, she said: "Today’s the day! The first live show day and I’m go excited to dance on the magical @bbcstrictly floor with my fabulous partner @iamtomskinner. It’s been such a great rewarding two weeks watching Tom fall in love with dancing and seeing the improvement each day.
"Dancing and performing couldn’t be further from his day to day job. We’ve had so much fun, worked really hard and I’ve got to know the real fun, family guy Tom is! Let’s go and enjoy this! Can’t wait partner."
