England U21s marched into the final of the Euros as a second-half brace from Harvey Elliott saw off the Netherlands to keep Lee Carsley's men on track to defend their title with the winning strike coming five minutes from the end.
The Young Lions, winner of this tournament last time out, had gone in front thanks to a second-half effort from the Liverpool man following some good work by Tino Livramento. The Dutch equalised thanks to substitute Noah Ohio, who had only just come on, when his creative strike from 35 yards caught out goalkeeper James Beadle.
Elliott woyld then step up once again, donning the captain's armband, as he picked up the ball on the right and dribbled past a number of defenders before the space opened up for the shot, allowing him to drill a finish into the bottom corner.
