Speaking to Radio Times, the 31-year-old actor revealed that Tristan has "been back on the frontlines" and that he has "certainly seen more than his fair share of tragedy and atrocities".

Despite appearing to be coping well, Callum suggested that Tristan may be struggling more than people know beneath the surface, reports the Manchester Evening News.
"He spends the series trying to push a lot of things down and try to make everyone think that he's absolutely fine," he told Radio Times.
The actor went on: "He's the usual Tristan that we all know and expect, but we're sort of drip-fed... that things aren't all OK."
Set in Northern England in the 1930s and 40s, All Creatures Great and Small is based on the series of books by Alf Wight, which he wrote under the pen name James Herriot.
It started in 2020 and made a huge splash, with the TV adaptation winning over viewers and becoming a firm favourite.

A fresh series depicting the lives of characters in the Yorkshire Dales has been broadcast every autumn since the show's inception, and its sixth run starts today, with fans of the programme eager to see what James, Tristan and co have been up to.
All Creatures Great and Small, which also boasts actors Samuel West, Anna Madeley, and Rachel Shenton among its cast, has also aired several specials throughout its long run.
