Both the government and the opposition were preparing to bring a proposal regarding Justice Verma, but Dhankhar had formally accepted the opposition's proposal.

But the report claims something else. Dhankhar formally accepted the opposition's proposal against Justice Verma. While he did not give any assurance regarding the central government's proposal. The report claims that the Union Ministers had called Dhankhar regarding this issue and also said that the Prime Minister is not happy with his decision.

According to the report, Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju had talked to former Vice President Dhankhar. This happened after a motion was brought against Justice Verma . It was signed by 63 MPs. The government was surprised by Dhankhar's decision. When Dhankhar received a call from the central government, he said that he was working within the rules.
