Bihar Weather Update: Rain is likely in most districts, including the capital Patna. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for most areas, accompanied by lightning and thunder.

It's the last week of September. Conditions for the monsoon to withdraw have already developed in many states, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and parts of Jammu and Kashmir. However, the monsoon is expected to remain active in Bihar. Today, Wednesday, the monsoon is forecast to be more active in South Bihar. There are also indications of heavy rains in the northeastern districts.

Heavy rainfall is also expected in Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Kaimur, and in the northeast, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj, along with thunder and lightning warnings for most areas.
In addition, moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast for other districts of South Bihar, including Jehanabad, Nalanda, Patna, Arwal, Bhojpur, Nawada, Bhagalpur, and Khagaria. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected in many areas of these districts. However, rainfall is less likely in most districts of North Bihar today, Wednesday, and sunshine and humid heat will prevail. Rainfall and humid heat are also expected in other districts of South Bihar, including Patna.
On Tuesday, after 12 noon, heavy rainfall was recorded in Patna, Vaishali, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Buxar, Bhojpur, while before 12 noon, the highest rainfall of 68 mm was recorded in Supaul. Moderate rainfall was recorded in Kishanganj with 55.4 mm, Nawada 45.6 mm, Madhubani 30.4 mm, Nalanda 28.4 mm, Purnia 26.5 mm, Samastipur 22.2 mm, Katihar 21.8 mm, Banka 18.2 mm, Lakhisarai 16.2 mm and Begusarai 15.2 mm.
Balmikinagar recorded the highest temperature at 36.02 degrees Celsius.On Tuesday, several districts, including Patna, experienced rainfall during the day, but the temperature remained unchanged in the afternoon, and the humid heat persisted. The capital, Patna, recorded a temperature of 33.9 degrees Celsius, while Balmikinagar recorded the highest temperature of 36.02 degrees Celsius. Most districts recorded temperatures between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature was 31.4 degrees Celsius in Banka. There is no significant change expected in the state's temperature today (Wednesday) either.
