Kerala man Abheesh P. Dominic carved his name into the golden pages of the Guinness Book of World Records by achieving the title for most coconuts smashed with one hand in one minute. Abheesh P. Dominic broke open 122 to beat the 14-year-old previous record of 118. The video posted by Guinness World Records on Instagram is receiving widespread attention for the uniqueness of the record and the amazing feat achieved by Abheesh.
In the viral moment, the man can be seen breaking down coconuts placed in a line on a wall in the city of Kottayam, Kerala. In a span of 60 seconds, he cracked open 122 coconuts in total using just his one hand, with the cheerful motivation from his family and friends in the background. He completed his mission by opening 2 coconuts in one second.
After achieving his dream record, Abheesh said, "I decided to break this record because I am from a remote village and Guinness World Records is only a dream for any one of us."
"I am a man of strong determination and I strongly believe in the willpower of human beings," he added.

With a record number of smashing 122 coconuts in one minute, Abheesh has broken the years-long record of German Muhamed Kahrimanovic, who created a record of 118 coconuts in 1 minute using his hands in 2011. The record was unbeatable for 14 years until Abheesh came in.
Muhamed Kahrimanovic created dominance in this particular category by breaking the record five times in the span of 2005 to 2011. He took the record number of breaking coconuts from 65 to 118, and today Abheesh has taken it to 122.
