Maharashtra Politics: Former Congress Minister Suresh Warpudkar Joins BJP With Key Supporters

Mumbai: Veteran Congress leader and former Minister of State, Suresh Warpudkar, from Parbhani district, officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, accompanied by a large number of supporters. BJP state president Ravindra Chavan welcomed Warpudkar and his associates at a joining ceremony held at the BJP state office.

BJP Leaders Welcome High-Profile Entry

The event witnessed the presence of several senior leaders, including Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, OBC Welfare Minister Atul Save, Parbhani Guardian Minister Meghana Sakore-Bordikar, MLAs Tanaji Mutkule, Sanjay Kenekar, Vikrant Patil, and others.

Also present were BJP Marathwada regional organization minister Sanjay Kodge, district president Suresh Bhumre, Parbhani city president Shivaji Bharose, and media head Navnath Ban.

Boost for BJP in Marathwada Region

Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra Chavan praised Warpudkar’s legacy of socially committed public service. “Warpudkar has joined the BJP with trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. His vast experience will strengthen the BJP organization in Parbhani. Everyone who joins BJP is given due respect,” Chavan said.

Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule noted that Warpudkar has played a key role in cooperative and social sectors for over four decades and said his entry would energize the BJP in Parbhani’s political landscape.

In his address, Suresh Warpudkar said he was inspired by BJP’s development-focused vision and was determined to spread its ideology further. He pledged to work for the growth of the party and ensure that its message reaches more people.
