RR vs PBKS Pitch Report: How will the surface affect play at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium?

Send Push
After the washed out game on Saturday, Rajasthan Royals will host Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday at 3:30 pm. This will be the first match where a ball will be bowled since the tournament was suspended due to increasing tensions between India and Pakistan.

With just 3 wins in 12 matches, RR are already knocked out of the tournament, while PBKS are fighting for a place in the top four, and possibly even in the top 2. They are currently placed third with 15 points in 11 matches.

The hosts will be boosted by the return of skipper Sanju Samson. However, they will miss the services of ace pacer Jofra Archer. However, Samson is likely to make a comeback and lead the side again.

PBKS, on the other hand have a major setback as the Australian trio of Marcus Stoinis, Aaron Hardie and Josh Inglis have not returned. Mitchell Owen and Kyle Jamieson join the squad to replace the injured Glenn Maxwell and Lockie Ferguson.

RR vs PBKS Pitch Report

The surface has generally been good to bat on this season with the bowlers also getting some help at times. Today would be more of the same, especially with the pitches being well rested during the break.
