West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the 10th result. All the students who appeared in this examination can check their results by visiting the official websites of the board , wbbse.wb.gov.in, and wbresults.nic.in. Students can also download their mark sheet from here. If students are unable to check the results on these websites, then they can also check their results through DigiLocker. This time Adrita Sarkar has topped the West Bengal Board 10th, while Anubhav Biswas and Soumya Pal are at second place and Ishani Chakraborty is at third place.
West Bengal Board 10th topper Adrita Sarkar is a student of Raiganj Coronation High School in North Dinajpur. She scored 696 out of 700 i.e. 99.43 percent marks in the examination. At the same time, Anubhav Biswas, a student of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Malda, and Saumya Pal, a student of Bankura High School, jointly scored 694 i.e. 99.14 percent marks, while Ishani Chakraborty, a student of Tatulpur Sarojbashini Balika Vidyalaya, has scored 693 i.e. 99 percent marks.
66 students made it to the top-10
This year the West Bengal Board's 10th result is better than last year's. Last year a total of 86.31 percent of students passed, while this year's passing percentage is 86.56 percent. According to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, this year a total of 66 students have made it to the top 10. On the other hand, if we talk about the district, this year Kalimpong district of West Bengal has become the topper, from where a total of 96.09 percent of students have passed the West Bengal Board 10th, while East Medinipur is at second place with 96.4 percent and Kolkata is at third place with 92.3 percent passing percentage.
How to check the result when the website is down?
Students can also check their results through SMS. For this, students have to type their roll number WB on their mobile and send it to 5676750. Shortly after this, the result will come in your message box, which you can check. Students who have failed in one or two subjects can take the compartment exam and if they get their paper rechecked, they can apply for re-evaluation.
The record was made in 2021
Last year i.e. in 2024 also, the results of West Bengal Board 10th were declared on 2nd May itself. Then a total of 9,23,013 students appeared in the examination and their passing percentage was 86.31 percent, while in 2023 the passing percentage was 86.15 percent. In the year 2021, the West Bengal Board had made a record. Then the result of class 10th was 100 percent i.e. all the students passed the exam.
