NEET UG Counselling 2025: Students shocked by reduction in AIQ seats, will have an effect in NEET Round-1

NEET UG Counselling 2025: disappointing news has come out before the Round-1 seat allotment for the students preparing to take admission in NEET UG 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice amid NEET UG Round-1 registration. According to this notice, 9 BDS seats of ESIC Dental College and Hospital, Rohini (Delhi) have been removed from AIQ (All India Quota).

MCC received this information from ESIC through DGHS, after which these seats have been removed from the seat matrix of Round-1. Now students will be able to apply for fewer seats than before.

New registration schedule

Under the revised schedule, the Medical Counseling Committee has allowed students to register till August 3, 2025. Know the complete Round-1 timeline here:

Last date of registration – 3 August (till 1 pm)

Fee payment – 3 August (till 4 pm)

Choice filling – 3 August (till 11:59 pm)

Choice locking – 3 August (6 pm to 11:55 pm)

Seat processing – 4 to 5 August

Result release date – 6 August

College reporting – 7 to 11 August
