NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the date for choice filling for the first round of National Eligibility Entrance Test 2025. Now candidates can submit their college and course preferences till August 11, 2025, at mcc.nic.in. The choice filling facility will be available till 11:59 pm on Monday, as notified on the official website of MCC.
The seat allotment result may be postponed.
The choice filling extension of NEET UG 2025 by MCC means that the declaration of seat allotment results will also be pushed forward. Earlier, it was scheduled to happen on August 11, but the deadline was already extended to August 9 due to the demand of the candidates and pending court cases. The qualified authorities had allowed choice filling and locking till August 7, as many candidates faced technical issues while selecting the options.
MCC has extended the choice filling deadline for NEET UG 2025 counselling round 1 to August 6. This change was made at a time when MCC suddenly stopped the choice filling process and released the revised counselling schedule. Earlier, candidates were asked to fill out and lock the options by August 4, while the seat allotment result was to be declared on August 6.
This amendment has been made especially for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), who have not yet received certificates from the designated centers. Also, this change will benefit those Non-Resident Indian (NRI) applicants who have not certified their eligibility, so that they can also fill out their choice of options in time.
Submit your preferences like this.
First of all, go to the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. There, log in with your registration number and password in the "Candidate Login" section.
After logging in, click on the ‘Choice Filling’ or ‘Choice Submission’ option.
Enter preferences as per your choice from the list of available courses (like MBBS, BDS) and colleges.
You can move the colleges up or down according to the rank.
After filling in all the choices, save your chosen preferences.
Remember, once you lock the choices, you will not be able to make any changes, so check carefully.
After locking the choices, take a print out of your counselling preferences for future reference.
