Arsenal and adidas drop 'timeless' Samba trainers ahead of Premier League season

Arsenal fans can get ready for the new Premier League season with a ‘timeless’ piece of club merchandise. Earlier this summer, the club launched the Arsenal adidas 25/26 Samba Shoes as part of a new football club-themed Samba pack.

The trainers have been designed in a night indigo colourway that matches the new away kit, with adidas’ classic three stripes in pure ruby red on both sides and the club crest on the tongue. They also display ‘GUNNERS’ in gold-foil text on the outer edge and are available in sizes six to 12.

Of the trainers, Arsenal said: “One of adidas’ most iconic football shoe meets Arsenal DNA in the Arsenal adidas 25/26 Samba Shoes. Timeless and versatile, they come with a club crest printed on the tongue, a soft leather upper, and a signature suede T-toe for an authentic football look, the Gunners way.”

The Arsenal adidas 25/26 Samba Shoes are available from JD Sports for £100. It comes as the club gears up for the 2025/26 Premier League season, which sees them heading to Old Trafford for their opening game against Manchester United on August 17.

On Monday (August 4), Arsenal dropped their 2025/26 Third Kit to mark the 20th anniversary of the final season at Highbury. The off-white strip features an all-over graphic inspired by the stadium’s Art Deco East Stand, with a maroon trim, cannon crest and vintage badge on the back of the neck.

Announcing the new kit, Jurrien Timber said: “We all know how much Highbury means to our supporters, it’s part of the club’s identity. Wearing this kit is a way of honouring that history while inspiring the next generation of Arsenal supporters.

"It’s a special design, and I’m proud to wear it this season in front of our supporters.” The new third kit is available from Fanatics and Arsenal Direct. Following the launch, many Arsenal fans took to social media to share their reactions, with some hailing it as the ‘best’ kit this season.

Writing On X, one fan said: “This one is cold. Can’t wait to get it with Gyökeres on the back.” Another said: “Best kit for this season.”

Not everyone is sold, as this fan said: “Not one more white kit. Can we never do that again please?” But another impressed fan said: “This kit truly is a thing of beauty.”
